ABOUT US
The Quality Assessment and Assurance Board is an Independent Quality Accreditation Board that is officially registered in Curacao in accordance with the laws of Curacao with Registration No 163964 and licensed by the Minister of Economic Development of Curacao with License No 72327.2023.
The Government of Curacao has officially authorized the license of Quality Assessment and Assurance Board, QAAB.
Based on this license, QAAB is authorized to perform the following legitimate functions:
- To assess, evaluate and accredit organizations on quality regardless of sector or location.
- To assess, evaluate and accredit organizations on various ISO Standards.
- To assess, evaluate and accredit organizations and its programs and services regardless of sector or location.
- To certify individuals who are interested on quality as Certified Quality Assessor regardless of sector or location.
- To develop and implement procedures, standards and guidelines on quality.
- To admit individuals and organizations as members.
- To partner with other organizations who focuses on quality regardless of sector or location.
QAAB accreditation covers organizations of all sectors. Therefore, organizations in any industry can willingly approach QAAB for accreditation. QAAB accreditation will go a long way to confirm your organization commitment to quality.
QAAB also provide membership to individuals and organizations. Organizations who do not want to go through the accreditation processes can apply for membership.
QAAB accreditation and membership is open to organizations in the following sectors:
